We talked about it at the parent class, now it's time to make that teen driving contract.  We have had representatives from S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and Liberty Mutual speak to you about the importance of a teen driving contract.

As parents, we never want that  phone call that our teen has been involved in a crash.  It's a big step for parents as well as teens when they now have the opportunity to drive.

Liberty Mutual and S.A.D.D. have a developed a great web-based contract that you and your teen can easily fill out and post in the family kitchen for easy reminders.

Be fair and stern with your contract.  Point out the positives and negatives that will result by how your teen abides by the contract.  Use this as one of the many tools necessary to ensure that your teen is a safe driver.
