Teachers Driving Academy
The TDA offers classroom instruction in eight (8) convenient locations in Massachusetts. We offer the ease of online driving lesson scheduling as well as convenient classroom locations and FREE RMV mandated parent classes.
Driver's education has changed over the past couple years and the TDA has been on the forefront of this change. Please take the time to look at the 'FAQ' page to answer the many questions you may have. The TDA doesn't believe in hidden fees. We try to answer any question to help you make an informed decision before choosing a driver's education provider. The TDA looks forward to being part of one of the greatest experiences in your life; obtaining your driver's license.

02.03.10-HOPKINTON FEBRUARY VACATION CLASS LOCATION....February Vacation class location has changed in order to accomodate maintenance being done at the high school. February 8th, 10th, and 11th will be held at Hopkinton Middle School (Lecture Hall), 88 Hayden Rowe, Hopkinton. The remaining classes (Feb. 16th-19th) will be held at Ashland High School, 65 East Union St, Ashland. Room will be posted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
02.03.10-NORWOOD CLASS LOCATION....NEW LOCATION FOR FUTURE CLASSES (including February 2010 classes) will be at the Norwood CIVIC CENTER, 165 Nahatan Street, Norwood. (Town of Norwood Recreation Dept.)
02.02.10-BISHOP FEEHAN PARENT CLASS TIME CHANGE...The time for parent class and student module #1 (Monday, Feb. 8th) has been changed to 2:45pm-4:45pm. If this time will not work for your schedule, you can come attend the 6:00-8:00pm class later that evening at Foxboro High. There is also the same class running at Mansfield High on Thurs, Feb 11th, 6:00-8:00pm. See the 'parent class' link for times and locations.
12.21.09-SNOW POLICY...If school is dismissed early or cancelled due to snow, there will be NO classroom or driving lessons. We will post on the website as soon as we know.
12.06.09-PLEASE make sure you read the Saturday Road Test FAQ page and/or the page after you schedule your Saturday road test. Although the RMV is still allowing you take the test on Saturday, it will NOT be a license unless you have paid them their $70 fee for your 5 year license. This fee is SEPARATE from the TDA Saturday sponsorship fee. You must prepay them in person at RMV or by calling 800-858-EXAM. Failure to do this will result in you going to the RMV to pay them AFTER you pass your Saturday test. It will still only be a PERMIT until they get paid. REMEMBER, you must have completed all your drivers' ed requirements and scheduled your road test 15 days PRIOR to requested Saturday test. 10.30.09-A new RMV express branch opened on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 75 Park Street in Attleboro. Located in the basement of the Shang Building (the former post-office) adjacent to Attleboro City Hall, the branch offers license and registration renewals from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. 10.05.09-Drivers Ed Certificate..This is what the RMV issues electronically on your driver's history. The exact cost is $15.00 to the RMV. We DO NOT mark this price up in any way. You are simply reimbursing us what we paid the RMV to process your DE certificate.
