Welcome to the TDA and thanks for checking us out!  The TDA offers driving instruction in many communities and classroom instruction in THIRTEEN (13) convenient locations in Massachusetts (Mansfield, Foxboro, Norton, Attleboro (two locations), North Attleboro, Hopkinton, Ashland, Dover-Sherborn, Millis, Norwood, Milford, and Hopedale).  We offer the ease of online driving lesson scheduling as well as convenient classroom locations and FREE RMV mandated parent classes.  

Driver's education has changed over the past few years and the TDA has been on the forefront of this change.  Please take the time to look at the 'FAQ' page to answer the many questions you may have. The TDA doesn't believe in hidden fees.  We put everything on our website so you can make an informed choice.   The TDA is proud to say that we have NEVER charged for a parent class and not increased our driving lesson price in over six (6) years.

 05.12.13-JUNE SESSIONS UPDATED DUE TO EXCESSIVE SNOW DAYS...All the June 2013 classes have been updated to reflect the new dates due the excessive snow days we had this year.

04.06.13-NEW RMV PHONE NUMBER..The new number to call the RMV and prepay for your license is 857-368-8000..Hit prompts #3, then #4...

02.02.13-SEE OUR 2012 ROAD TEST RESULTS...In 2011, the TDA had a passing rate of 90.5% of 2,419 road tests administered...Don't take our word for it; CLICK HERE TO SEE THE RESULTS ON THE MASS RMV WEBSITE.

12.10.12-NEW NORTH ATTLEBORO LOCATION..All future classroom sessions in North Attleboro will be held at the WATERS CHURCH, 15 John Dietsch Blvd, North Attleboro. 

09.28.12-NEW LOCATION JUST ADDED!..The TDA is proud to offer classes at another Attleboro location.  Starting October 2012, we will now be offering classes right at ATTLEBORO HIGH SCHOOL.

06.18.12-IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR SCHEDULING A RMV ROAD TEST WITH TDA...You now MUST have ALL your requirements completed (classes, parent class, driving/observation hours, and payments made) AND be signed up for a road test a MINIMUM of 21 DAYS now.  (NO LONGER 15 DAYS!)  These new guidelines must be strictly adhered to in order to comply with RMV requirements.  Again, if you want a Saturday road test with TDA, you must sign up with us on OUR site and complete everything 21 DAYS in advance.  Sign up now if you know when you want to go..Just make sure all is done by the new '21 DAY' rule.

01.19.12-NEW NORTON LOCATION!!!  NORTON CLASSES..Starting with February Vacation session, classes will be held at 320 West Main St, Norton.  (The big brick building across from Tedeschi's food mart at the intersection of Rt. 123 and S. Worcester Streets)

08.06.11-PLEASE make sure you read the Saturday Road Test FAQ page and the Road Test Steps (under Teens) to schedule your Saturday road test.  The fee to TDA for an OPTIONAL Saturday road test is $90.  (This is because we have to pay the RMV and the staff to prep and sponsor you.)  Although the RMV is still allowing you take the test on Saturday, it will NOT be a license unless you have paid them their $70 fee for your 5 year license.  This fee is SEPARATE from the TDA Saturday sponsorship fee.  You must prepay them in person at RMV or by calling 800-858-EXAM.  Failure to do this will result in you going to the RMV to pay them  AFTER you pass your Saturday test.  It will still only be a PERMIT until they get paid. REMEMBER, you must have completed all your drivers' ed requirements and scheduled your road test 21 days PRIOR to requested Saturday test. The RMV just CHANGED the application form you will need the "day you take the road test"

*****IMPORTANT:  DO NOT SCHEDULE A ROAD TEST WITH THE RMV ON YOUR OWN IF YOU PLAN ON GOING FOR A SATURDAY TEST.  JUST USE THE LINK ON OUR WEBSITE TO SCHEDULE YOUR SATURDAY ROAD TEST (WE SCHEDULE IT FOR YOU!)  SCHEDULE NOW IF YOU KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO GO--NO NEED TO WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE DONE.  FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!  THE RMV WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HAVE TWO (2) APPOINTMENTS.  THIS WILL RESULT IN THE RMV REMOVING YOU FROM YOUR SATURDAY TEST WITH THE TDA.***** 

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Teachers Driving Academy is to provide professional, convenient, and comprehensive driver education courses to all of the students we serve.  We believe that driver education is one of the most important classes that will be taken during a person's lifetime.   The classroom portion will not only teach the rules of the road, but also make each student aware of the consequences if they do not make good driving decisions.  Through quality driving instruction, each student will improve their skills while learning safe driving practices.  We will provide driving experience in a variety of situations necessary to make the student knowledgeable and ready for safe and independent operation of a motor vehicle in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 877-TDA-DRIVE (877-832-3748)
